Therefore, we are going to list 10 do’s and don’ts that will make sure that your wedding plans are executed without any problems but even we can’t help you keep a stubborn wedding crasher from tasting some free food at your wedding.

Do’s

Keep the budget in your mind

When you will start planning your wedding, you will realize that you need to manage a lot of things like selecting a venue, contacting different vendors for decorations, and of course getting wedding dresses, etc. And soon you will come to know that all of these wedding preparations come at a serious cost that will make you consider about selling your car. It is very easy to spend more than you should on your wedding because there are some really expensive wedding dresses and exotic wedding venues that can quickly make you broke if you don’t have a fixed budget for everything. We suggest making a list of each wedding item you are going to need no matter how small it is after you and your partner have completed the list sit down together and discuss how much you can comfortably spend on each item. Spending some time and thought in making a wedding budget will save you a lot of regrets later on and you will be a much happily wedded couple knowing you have plenty of leftover money that you can spend later on.

Do finalize your guest list

A wedding is incomplete without guests that will witness your holy matrimony not to mention the exciting wedding gifts the guests will be bringing for you. But don’t let the excitement of getting more wedding gifts make you invite too many guests because seating and feeding the guests requires preplanning and you might also have to arrange a place to stay for guests that are traveling from faraway places. So make sure you make a list of all the friends, family members and work colleagues that you want to invite to your wedding. And send them an invitation at least 3 or 4 weeks before the wedding date so they can adjust their schedule. So we suggest you make a list of guests for your weddings as soon as possible because it will allow you to make a better wedding plan and budget.

Do consider the venue for your wedding

A 200-guest wedding doesn’t cost the same as a wedding with just 50 guests and you will also need a lot bigger space if you are planning to invite more guests. So ask the manager of the venue which you are booking for your wedding ceremony about the seating capacity of the place and make sure it matches your guest list. One very important thing you should keep in mind is that it is near impossible to find a good wedding venue at the last minute because they are booked in advance. So once you have made your guest list make the booking of a wedding venue your priority or you might have to hold the wedding in your backyard and spend your honeymoon cleaning up the mess of the guests.

Do get a wedding dress that suits you perfectly

No matter what kind of wedding dress style you are into, just make you that the dress suits you and goes well according to your partner’s dress as well. There are so many factors that will affect your choice of wedding attire, especially for the brides dress and you have to consider all those factors. Some of the most important things you need to watch out for when buying a wedding outfit are budget, season, and venue. You can rent from a wedding shop, or buy one from a shop or online. In case you have a healthy budget, you can also have your dress custom made. Similarly, your wedding dress’s fabric should be wearable in the weather your wedding is taking place in. By the way, you can’t wear a trailing wedding dress for your beach wedding because you will end up with tons of sand stuck on your dress we are sure you got an idea about how important the venue is when selecting your wedding dress.

Do memorize your Wedding vows in advance

It is normal to get nervous at your wedding, after all, it is the day you, your friends, and family will remember for the rest of their lives and you wouldn’t want to mess up anything especially reciting your wedding vows. It will be one of the most important speeches you will ever give. So you have to practice a lot to make this important moment perfect. If needed, you can also give a copy of the vows to the best man or bridesmaid, so that they can help you out in case you get stuck while reciting your vows.

Do smile a lot

Wedding is a dream come true for most people and even the slightest imperfection may cause anxiety because you have such high expectations from your wedding day. But no matter how hard we try some things such as bad weather or rain are out of our hands. So you might find yourself having to adapt according to certain situations and keep smiling on your wedding day. And look on the bright side of things like if it starts raining your guests can open up an umbrella and you will have an umbrella themed wedding. And once the rain clears out and the rainbow appears in the sky you will get to have a beautiful sight to make your wedding even more memorable. Or you can avoid all that by holding your wedding in a place that has both indoor and outdoor settings. But the point is that you should always think about the positive aspect of a situation and keep a smile on your face because we don’t want you looking sad in your wedding photos.

Don’ts

Don’t follow trends

A wedding ceremony is a great way to express a couple’s taste and combined interests. So it is more important to consider what you as a couple want in your wedding as compared to blindly following the latest wedding trends. You will find a lot of new trends in wedding magazines, and social media, but ultimately it is your wedding and you should do everything the way you like to. You can even have a DIY wedding party if you and your partner both agree on it. But if you are stuck in a situation where you and your partner can’t agree on a certain wedding theme, for example, you might want to have a romantic wedding while your partner wants a classic one if faced with such a situation you both should compromise on certain things and meet halfway.

Don’t forget to taste your menu

Food and drinks are an important part of your wedding. So it is up to ask the food catering company you are about to hire for a sample of their food to check its quality and taste.

Don’t make guests wait too long to start the party

Stick to the schedule of your wedding day, which you have mentioned on your wedding invitation. Do not leave your guests sitting for too long because no one likes to wait especially when they are hungry. If you need some time to start your wedding party, you can show your guests a movie of your journey as a couple to keep them interested. You can also prepare some snacks and drinks for the wedding party, so the guests don’t feel hungry or thirsty.

Don’t wear uncomfortable shoes

Buy a pair of shoes that you feel comfortable in so that you don’t hurt your feet while trying to impress the guests with your fancy shoes. Since you need to dance, walk, toast, greet in your wedding day, you’d better choose a pair of shoes with a soft and comfortable material that will allow you to show off your dance moves.

Just remember you are going to have a new role in your life and you will get the blessings from all your friends and family.
